Our most significant accreditation, for which we are rightly proud, is the award of SIA (Security Industry Authority) Approved Contractor. This is the pinnacle of British security recognition to which all security companies aspire.

Having approved contractor status means that we have been officially endorsed as providing reliable, well established and consistently high levels of security and service. We comply with all security industry legislation and we understand every aspect of our business. In short we take our responsibilities to you, our client, extremely seriously.

BSI (British Security Industry) Benchmark is a unique tool developed by BSI Management Systems, which enables companies to really understand the strategic value of ISO 9000 series of standards. It is designed to significantly aid organisations in their pursuit of continual improvement.

Licensing for individual Security Officers came into effect across England and Wales at the same time in 2006. Therefore, since 20th March 2006, it is illegal to work as a Security Officer without an SIA Licence.

ISO 9001 is a series of documents that define requirements for the Quality Management System Standard.

Conformity of products and services to International Standards provides assurance about their quality, safety and reliability.

Approved SAFE contractor is a third party health & safety Accreditation scheme for contractors. The contractor must satisfy the qualifications set by most of the UK’s major employers

ASET is a national awarding body which specialises in examining, accrediting and certifying learning programmes. ASET are one of the largest providers of vocational qualifications in the UK. ASET is recognised by industry and governmental organisations throughout the UK such as the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS), Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and has also formed strategic partnerships with government bodies.

Network Securities UK work with ASET to provide vocational qualifications for staff and assist in developing standards for security industry qualifications.

IOSH is recognised throughout he UK and Europe as the leading body for health and safety professionals. The organisation exists to regulate and steer health and safety standards and conduct. IOSH are a not-for-profit organisation who work with national and international standards-making bodies to advance research and standards within the health and safety profession.

Network Securities UK make health and safety a priority. Our staff regularly attend IOSH courses and conferences. We ensure that our company complies with the international accepted IOSH standards for health and safety.

Skills for Security is a skills and standards setting body for our industry, the security business sector. Skills for Security builds strategic partnerships with awarding bodies, European representation and qualification frameworks within the security industry.

Skills for Security work with Network Securities UK as a skills advisor and consultation specialist.

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) Compliance means the applicant has demonstrated adequate compliance with current legislation and sound management of Health and Safety.

CHAS is a government sanctioned scheme to maintain high standards of Health and Safety. CHAS sets standards for placement in areas such as technical ability, equalities, insurance cover, environment and health and safety. Assessing contractors is usually a lengthy process, particularly when it comes to health and safety.
