IOSH is recognised throughout he UK and Europe as the leading body for health and safety professionals. The organisation exists to regulate and steer health and safety standards and conduct. IOSH are a not-for-profit organisation who work with national and international standards-making bodies to advance research and standards within the health and safety profession.

Skills for Security is a skills and standards setting body for our industry, the security business sector. Skills for Security builds strategic partnerships with awarding bodies, European representation and qualification frameworks within the security industry.

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) Compliance means the applicant has demonstrated adequate compliance with current legislation and sound management of Health and Safety.
CHAS is a government sanctioned scheme to maintain high standards of Health and Safety.
CHAS sets standards for placement in areas such as technical ability, equalities, insurance cover, environment and health and safety. Assessing contractors is usually a lengthy process, particularly when it comes to health and safety.
